Outside-In tree-night

KATNISS climbs a tree slowly and quietly hoping to escape from her enemies below. She went up and up high on the tree so her enemies wouldn't catch her for a while.

She then finds a safe spot hidden high upon the tree using a rope to attach herself to the tree to sit down and rest.

The next morning, KATNISS sees the beehive and starts to climb up the tree toward it quietly.

CEASER is sitting in a dark newscasting room

"For those of you that don't know, Tracker Jackers, are genetically engineered Wasps whose venom causes searing pain, powerful hallucinations and in some cases death."

She eases along the tree to reach the beehive, getting stung multiple times. She uses a knife that was thrown at her to slowly (takes a long time) cut the beehive down. The beehive lands on the people and the bees sting them vigorously. They scream and one of the girls falls and dies (GLIMMER). After the bees clear out and the people are running away from death, KATNISS gets down from the tree carefully and grabs the dead girl's Bow and Arrow. KATNISS has hallucinations and falls on a tree and is struggling to stand.
