Funny Captions

Image
Funny Captions This old man is evolving and becoming a bull dog!  He has laid on his deck with his dog for the past several years and has even started walking on all fours. This poor old man has had a Vietnam flashback and started shooting at ducks.  He served in the Vietnam War and lost all of his friends thus causing the flashback. This poor bipolar old lady can't decide whether she is happy or upset.  She is actually forced to smile even though she is very upset with the photographer.

Warmup and Mural Project Planning

Warmup and Mural Project Planning 1.  What emotions did you feel as you worked your way through these images? I felt sad and a sense of pity. 2.  The photographer said this: "These photographs do not define us, but they are us." What do you think about this comment now that you have looked at the photos? Although the photographs are about them, they still don't give an entire story.   3.  Do you think you could shoot photos like this if you were in this situation? I believe that I could and would.  It would be good to share a story like this.   4.  If you could write Angelo a letter, what would you say to him? I would say that I'm horribly sorry for his loss and ask more about the story.

Camera SIM Practice

Camera SIM Practice I used a 43mm focal length for all of these photos. 1) For this I used ISO 100.  It ended up being very blurry and bright. 2) I used ISO 100 again.  It was blurry and was still a little too bright. 3) The brightness was good for this one, but it was still blurry. 4) For this I used ISO 200.  It was a little dark and a little blurry. 5) For this one I used ISO 400.  It was still just a little dark and blurry. 6) I used ISO 800 for this photo.  This photo was a little pixelated, a little blurry and dark. 7) I used ISO 800 once again.  It was dark and pixelated. 8) I used ISO 100.  It was very bright and blurry. 9) I used ISO 100.  The lighting was fine but it was still blurry. 10) I used ISO 200.  It was a little blurry. 11) I used ISO 400.  It was a little dim, but it was clear. 12) I used ISO 800.  It was a little pixelated and dim. 13) I used ISO 1600.  It was dim and pixelated. 14) I used ISO 3200.  It was dim and very pixelated. 15) I used ISO 1

Aperture, Shutter Speed and IOS

Aperture Here is an example of f/2.8 aperture Now here is an example of f/16 or higher aperture  1.  The pupil in the eye acts like aperture in the sense that it opens and closes.  It only lets a certain amount of light through, thus changing the focus. 2.  The smaller the aperture the more focused the image is, the higher the aperture the larger the area of focus.   3.  Aperture is a way of telling you what to look at.   Shutter Speed Here is an example of slow shutter speed Now here is an example of fast shutter speed a) You could probably use a medium shutter speed since there isn't too much action, but there is still movement.   b) A slow shutter speed would be good since there is minimal movement.   c) You would need a fast shutter speed since there is a lot of action.   d) Once again, you would need a fast shutter speed because of the large amount of movement.   e) A medium shutter speed would probably be best, since it shows the mot
